It started with a small setup - a single machine-shop in the year 1972 manufacturing precision components for the horological industry and the defence sector. The founder Mr. P.K Jain, a horological engineer by profession with initial hands-on experience in Switzerland with ETA (Swatch Group) and trained in a technology called décolletage de précision, started up operations. Over the years, Mr. Jain attained commendable repute and the stepping stone was the agreement with a Swiss Company called Landis & Gyr, the largest manufacturers of electrical energy metres in the world, with four plants operational globally. The company was very good in integrating knowledge, engineering skills & resources in developing precise components with up to 10 micron accuracy. |
