Recycled water from a geothermal well used to irrigate in Mont de Marsan

For 30 years Mont de Marsan has been heating some of its buildings with the use of geothermal energy. To comply with environmental standards, a solution had to be found for the waste water of this resource pumped from a depth of 2000 metres, which was still hot after its use. The Chamber of Commerce came up with the idea of constructing a storage reservoir specifically for the use of irrigation.
