SYNAA : Paysalia is already in its 10th year and it is still a success for the irrigation trade

Paysalia is already in its 10th year and it is still a success for the irrigation trade, with more than a 30% increase in the surface area of the irrigation village for the 2019 event.
The whole profession met up for what has now become a routine get-together. It also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, share convivial moments and take part in statutory matters.

The general assembly took place in a relaxed atmosphere where I was re-elected president for 3 years with the goal of continuing to serve our profession. We will communicate to convince people that irrigation is in our best interest and we need to water even more to allow our plants and our planet to breathe and increase the quality and sustainability of our green spaces. Training will also be at the heart of this mandate, where we are finding it difficult to recruit coupled with a willingness to improve the competence levels of our companies in a permanent manner.
The new members have received recognition: the company CCA Perrot and Hydrogénie, both installers; Green citizen, manufacturer of a remote management solution; Garden arrosage, a traditional French supplier and Sorodist, a key figure in PVC fittings and others.
The European label of proficiency in automatic irrigation for green spaces and sports fields completed its first session, this being an EIA (European Irrigation Association) and SYNAA project, which had 25 people sitting the test. It involved 50 general questions on irrigation, covering both maintenance and design or the installation of a system.
The trainees with the specialisation certificates in ‘irrigation’ find themselves faced with a veritable technical challenge. The CFPPA [Centre for the Professional Training and Promotion of Agriculture] of Miramas (13) narrowly prevailed over the CFPPA of Saint Germain en Laye (78). The standard and dedication of our future colleagues was excellent.
Thank you for the trust you have once again placed in me; I will continuously strive to be a worthy president and drive our profession forward.
I hope that for all of you the year 2020 will be full of success, with plenty of work and happiness.
